Honolulu Dentists
Dr. Wynn Okuda and his colleagues in Honolulu operate the Give Back a Smile program under the auspices of the National Domestic Violence Program and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Okuda proposed the concept for the project in 1999 and now has 670 dentists across the country that donate their reconstructive dental services to people whose teeth have been damaged by domestic violence and who cannot afford treatment.
